We recently hosted our trademarked event — The Lock & Key Singles Party — in Milwaukee, Wisconsin at the Milwaukee Brewing Company and Distillery, for singles ages 24-49. The event was a blast for all of the local single men and women who attended, and many, many matches were made!

How the night works

All of the single women get a lock on a necklace, and the single men get a key on a little wristlet. As everyone mingles and talks, they try to unlock their lock — and when they do, both people get a raffle ticket plus a new lock or key so they can get back out there and keep meeting people.

Everyone has a great time, and at the end there's a prize drawing. So on top of all the fun new people you get to meet, you have a chance to win a prize.

The original Lock & Key event

NBC WTMJ-TV stops by

NBC WTMJ-TV in Milwaukee came to check out the event for their 'Milwaukee Tonight' TV show. In the story, reporter James Groh described the scene: about 40 people looking for love before Valentine's Day, mingling at the brewery to find the person with the matching lock — unlocking their hearts to find true love along the way.

The crew did their best to help two people looking for love break the ice, speaking with Madison and Emily from Waterford about how they describe themselves and what they're attracted to. You can read the original story by James Groh on TMJ4.com.
