Pre-Dating Speed Dating and Lock & Key™ Singles Events ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using our website and attending our events, you consent to the practices described here.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly — such as your name, email, phone number, gender, and age when you register for an event or join our mailing list. We also receive limited transaction details from our third-party ticketing and checkout providers (Eventbrite and Fillout) to confirm your registration. When you browse our site, we may collect standard analytics data including pages visited, referring URLs, and approximate location.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to process event registrations, communicate with you about events you've signed up for, send optional mailing-list updates, improve our website and services, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing of Information

We share information only with the third-party providers needed to run our events and process payments (such as Eventbrite and Fillout), and as required by law. Our event Hosts may have access to registration lists solely to check you in at an event.

Event Photography

Professional press, media, or company cameras may be present at events. Attendees may be photographed, filmed, or recorded and will receive no compensation. Images become the property of Pre-Dating to be used at our discretion. We use our best efforts to ensure that participants who do not wish to be on film are not photographed, though we make no guarantees. Smart glasses or recording of audio, images, or video by attendees is strictly prohibited without pre-arranged express written consent.

Our services are for adults only. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Terms of Service

By registering for or attending a Lock & Key™ Singles Event, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not register or attend.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally single — never married, divorced, or widowed — to attend. If you are separated, in an open relationship, or otherwise attached, you are not suitable to attend. Registering affirms that you are legally single and available. No refunds or credits will be given after the event if you misrepresent yourself as single.

Tickets & Registration

Your paid registration places you on the guest list; no e-ticket or printed confirmation is required. Tickets are non-transferable. We work hard to balance the number of men and women at each event, but because some registrants do not show up, we cannot guarantee a perfect gender balance.

Attendance Credit Guarantee

It is rare, but if you attend an event and do not meet at least 15 people of the opposite gender, we will give you a credit to attend a future event for free.

Conduct at Events

You agree to behave respectfully toward all attendees and staff. Harassment of any kind will result in removal without a refund.

No Solicitation

Attendees are not permitted to solicit, advertise, or market any products or services — free or paid — to any participant of any Lock & Key event during or after the event. Doing so will subject the attendee to a $900 Sponsorship Fee billed to their original payment method. Individuals who work for or run their own singles-related endeavors — including event hosts, matchmaking, coaching, authors, meetup groups, or any other products or services — are expressly forbidden from attending our events.

Photography & Recording

Smart glasses or recording of audio, images, or video by attendees is strictly prohibited without the pre-arranged express written consent of Pre-Dating / Lock & Key's corporate office (not just the Host). Doing so will subject the attendee to a $900 Sponsorship Fee billed to their original payment method.

Refunds

Refunds are handled per the policy stated on the ticketing provider's listing at the time of purchase. Credits for future events may be offered at our discretion, including under the attendance credit guarantee above.

Intellectual Property & Trademark

Lock and Key, Lock & Key, and Lock N Key are U.S. federally registered trademarks. Using these marks or a confusingly similar mark in association with similar products or services is trademark infringement and may be prosecuted. All other site content is owned by Pre-Dating Speed Dating and may not be reproduced without permission.

Limitation of Liability

We provide our events and website "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your attendance or use of our site.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted on this page.
