Lauderdale, Fla., had tried speed dating — singles go through a series of timed three-minute dates with up to 25 possibilities in one evening — a handful of times, and while it seemed to be a pretty good introduction method, he thought there had to be something better,' wrote Samantha Grice in the National Post.
